International Study Tours

International Business - China

Each spring MBA students participate with the MBA China Study Tour and undergraduate students participate with the International Study Tour to China. The tours combine lectures and assignments at the University of Alberta with an on-site China study tour during which students participate in company visits and lectures, as well as some cultural and sightseeing activities, in order to gain first-hand experience and understanding of the unique business culture and context of China.

Family Business - Europe

The European Study Tour is a winter course for MBA students (SMO 686) and a spring course for undergraduate students (BUEC 444) that focuses on family business and entrepreneurship in Europe. Past destinations included Germany, Austria and France.

Through our Business Career Services office, the Alberta School also placed nine students on international co-op assignments. These were located in Auckland, Melbourne, London, Beijing, and Hong Kong. New this year for undergraduate students was a two-week international study trip to China with 18 participants.

Natural Resources and Energy Specialization

MBA students in the Natural Resources and Energy specialization have the option to attend a study tour. Past destinations have included Norway, Germany, and Brussels.



International Exchanges

International study opportunities also include exchanges with leading universities across the globe.

For students from partner institutions who wish to study at the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta. 

Outgoing Exchange 

For Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta students who wish to study at one of our international partner institutions.
