Program Overview

The Management Essentials Program (MEP) has been designed to provide a rich but concise survey of graduate level business courses. Key themes found in the U of A’s internationally-ranked MBA program are the basis for each course, giving you the opportunity to examine and discuss current research and theories while applying concepts to case studies and situations from today’s business environment. The quality of the Alberta MBA has been recognized in the Financial Times Ranking 2009, which looks at business schools from around the world. The Alberta MBA achieved a first-place ranking for Canadian MBA programs in terms of value for money, aims achieved, and career progress. Building on the world-class quality of instruction and material in this program, the MEP offers you an insight into deeper business issues.

Successful completion of the Management Essentials Program is recognized by the University of Alberta MBA program. Participants who successfully complete the program are eligible for up to 3 credits to be applied to the University’s MBA degree program.
