Janice Thomas
Janice Thomas is Associate Professor of Project Management at the Centre for Innovative Management (CIM) at Athabasca University and Program Director for the Executive MBA in Project Management. Prior to becoming an academic, Janice spent ten years as a project manager in the fields of information technology and organizational change. Her education in the “real” world school of project management inspired her to undertake graduate research into the fundamental reasons for project failure.
Janice is now an active researcher, presenting and publishing her research to academic and practitioner audiences around the world. Janice is co-principal investigator of the “Understanding the Value of Project Management to Organizations” research project.
