Do we provide Computing IDs?

No. The U of A only assigns computing IDs to Undergrad students, Graduate students and professors. Since our programs are non-credit and we do not use the same registration system as the U of A, our students do not receive Computing IDs.

Do we provide T2202A forms?

Our programs are non-credit. Although T2202A forms are not provided from Executive Education, you may be able to claim the registration fees with the program receipt. However, we would recommend consulting with Revenue Canada or a tax agency/consultant.

What is included in the Short Course/Program fee?

The fee includes all course materials, breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks. Please inform us of any special dietary requests or allergies. Program fee does not include GST.

Program fees are payable at the time of registration for open enrollment, customized and municipal programs. As for government programs, the fee will be applied after attendance of the program.

What are my payment options?

Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express)

Cheque (personal or company), made payable to:
The University of Alberta
Attn:
Executive Education
2-006 Enterprise Square
10230 Jasper Avenue
Edmonton, AB T5J 4P6

Are there any discounted fees?

If you are a U of A employee, you are eligible to receive 10% off program fees.

Registration and Waitlisting

Most open enrollment and customized programs are open for registration up until the day of the module delivery, subject to availability.

Most government and health programs fill up quickly. If you are wait-listed and your status changes, we will inform you of the change in your status via email.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

Cancellation Policy for Government Programs

NEW! Alberta School of Business Executive Education must be notified via email of all cancellations or substitutions prior to the beginning of the course. If you are registered but find that you are unable to attend, you have the following cancellation options:

Substitutions are allowed for the same course at any time prior to the course start date without incurring any fees. However, Executive Education must be notified via email of the substitution prior to the course start date.

Credits for courses are granted based on full attendance of the class dates. In the event you are unable to attend the entire course, make-up days will be allowed in the next available offering of the same course. There is a fee of $150.00 per make-up day (to a maximum of $500.00). Approval and registration for make-up days must be obtained through Executive Education. Make-up days must be requested within 90 days of the course. Requests for make-up days will not be approved if received more than 90 days after the course date.

***Subject to change. Please visit website for most current information.***

Cancellation Policy for Open Enrolment Programs

Cancellations received either in writing or via email 10 working days or more to the commencement of a class will be fully refunded. Cancellations received less than 10 working days will be subject to a $150 administration fee. No refund will be issued to a no-show.

Can I transfer sessions that are part of a program taken with EE to another EE program?

Unfortunately this is not possible for government programs. If you have completed the Government of Alberta’s MDP program, modules are not transferable to another program. However, equivalences may be considered for open enrollment programs.

Participants who successfully complete the Management Essentials Program (MEP) may be eligible for up to three credits to be applied towards the University of Alberta's MBA Degree Program (equivalent to one elective course).
