What You Will Learn:

Effective consultation and communication with the public and stakeholders are essential to the successful achievement of policy outcomes. Within the Government of Alberta, senior and executive managers should ensure that stakeholders are involved in decisions and that there is effective communication with the public on policy and program issues. You will learn to lead effective consultations, the importance of effective consultation to successful policy and program initiatives, and the role of marketing communications in the management and dissemination of information related to government policies, decisions, and services.
