Prospective Students

Engagement

At the Alberta School of Business, we pride ourselves in offering unique, practical, and rewarding programs to all of our students. Our aim is for everyone who passes through our doors to become engaged: engaged with their education; engaged with their research; and engaged with the community. From this comes a passion for business, a respect for ethics and best practices, and a diverse set of skills to help launch your career.

Excellence

For 2010, the School broke the top 100 of the Shanghai Rankings, landing in 89th place. We’ve produced four winners of the prestigious 3M Teaching Fellowship, more than any other Canadian business school. An annual independent survey shows student satisfaction with our BCom program to be consistently above 90%. The Financial Times of London ranks our MBA program 86th world-wide, while our PhD program is ranked 2nd in Canada. Put simply, excellence is not only something we strive for at the Alberta School of Business. It’s something we consistently achieve.

Opportunities

In our classrooms, students have the ability to study all areas of business. While this is important, we know there’s more to learning about business than hitting the books. That’s why we offer a co-op work placement program, international exchanges, study tours, unique research opportunities, executives-in-residence, and a global network of alumni and industry contacts who support the School. These opportunities, and the sheer number of them, set us apart from other business schools, and will set you apart from other graduates.

Diverse Programs

The Alberta School of Business offers undergraduate (BCom), graduate (MBA and PhD), and Executive Education programs, all of which have multiple options and specializations to choose from. Whether you’re new to university and are interested in studying business, or you’re an executive looking to sharpen your skills, the Alberta School of Business can help you achieve your best.
