Alberta School of Business

The Preservation of the Name Campaign:
Keeping the Alberta tradition alive

“Preservation might seem contrary to some in a world where business schools are aligning themselves with individual’s names for an established price. We have tremendous brand equity in our current moniker, and that true to the spirit of this great province, the name Alberta is more substantial and more recognizable than any one person’s name could represent alone.”

Stanley A. Milner
Honourary Chairman, Preservation of the Name Campaign

The Alberta School of Business is built on the Alberta tradition. Innovative ideas, hard work, entrepreneurial spirit and great people have made the Alberta economy the best in Canada. Twenty-three hundred students fill our classrooms every day expecting the best business education in the country. That is what we deliver.

Our culture is one of hard work, great ideas and concrete deliverables. Our faculty consistently provides critical information to policy makers, business leaders and key stakeholders in the vibrant Alberta, Canadian and international business communities. Perhaps most importantly, our graduates have become the backbone for the Alberta business and Canadian economic success story for most of the past century.

In 2008 the Alberta School of Business embarked on a bold plan to keep “Alberta” within the School’s name and raise $20 million to support our students, our endowment, teaching initiatives and research. As of March 2010 we have raised $19.6 million. We are very close to accomplishing this goal and we invite you to be part of this lasting achievement and invest in your School.

All gifts regardless of the size are welcome. Gifts can be established through pledges over time or through monthly giving plans. We look forward to facilitating your gift to the School and to recognize your contribution in an appropriate and personal way.
