  • Financial Research Services
Several databases are available to Alberta School of Business staff and students engaged in research involving financial data accessible via our subscription with Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) which warehouses international financial data sets. Alternatively, SUN Unix servers are available for local access to some of the same data sets. The Alberta School of Business Unix servers also provide faculty and students access to Canadian financial data sets not available to WRDS subscribers.

If you would like access to the Alberta School of Business Unix computing environment or the WRDS subscription please make your request using the help desk.

There is a substantial volume of documentation related to the Financial Research Service. The Technology Group is presently working to convert this documentation - to make it available in the Alberta School of Business Knowledge Base.  If you are interested in what is available for documentation or are looking for a specific document, make your request using the help desk.
