The WCER is constantly engaged in academic as well as privately funded research projects. Research is usually published in the Information Bulletin series, while some research is used as a basis for the events WCER hosts.

Small Grants

The WCER congratulates Drs. Branko Boskovic, Linda Nostbakken and Barry Scholnick on their successful applications for small research grants. These grants are funded by Imperial Oil. Research is to focus on business or econmic public policy formation in Alberta or Western Canada. Research results will be published in the WCER's Information Bulletin series.

Dr. Branko and Dr. Nostbakken will receive funding in 2012-2013 for their project "Environmental Regulation and the Development of Natural Resoruces".

Dr. Scholnick will receive runding in 2013-2014 for his project "The Impact of Policy on Personal Bankruptcy".
