Edmonton Eskimos - The Eskimos are one of the most dominant football teams in the CFL. They have won the league's Grey Cup championship thirteen times, including  five consecutive wins between 1978 and 1982, and most recently in 2005. The Eskimos play their home games at Commonwealth Stadium. 

Edmonton Oilers - The Oilers are members of the Northwest Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The team has won the Stanley Cup five times, in 1984, 1985, 1987, 1988 and 1990. For their dominance in the 1980s, the Hockey Hall of Fame has designated the team a dynasty. The Oilers play their home games in Edmonton at Rexall Place.

Edmonton Capitals - The Edmonton Capitals (2009), formerly the Edmonton Cracker-Cats (2005 - 2008), are an independent minor league baseball team that play in the Golden Baseball League. The 2005 season was their first season. The Capitals play their home games at Telus Field.

Edmonton Rush - The  Rush are a professional lacrosse team in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The 2006 season was their first. The Rush play their home games at Rexall Place.
