Edmonton River Valley - The longest expanse of urban parkland in North America at 7,400 hectares--22 times larger than New York's Central Park. More than 97 kilometres of multi-use trails wind their way through the city's green spaces--a recreational mecca for runners, walkers, rollerbladers and cyclists. Enjoy these same trails in the winter on skis, and take your skates along--the outdoor rinks are a short distance away. The trail system winds its way right up to the edge of campus.
Edmonton Parks - In all, Edmonton has over 460 parks. The 48-kilometre long city stretch of the North Saskatchewan River alone has 22 major parks. Enjoy walking/jogging/cycling paths, picnic areas, baseball diamonds, playgrounds, and wading pools.
City Recreation Facilities - The City of Edmonton offers over 14 recreation centres that provide many opportunities for recreation, fitness, relaxation and personal development. Affordable programs for all ages and abilities, unique workshops and special events, friendly and qualified staff, clean and safe facilities, and an assortment of excellent amenities are all in place to ensure that your visit is enjoyable.
Edmonton Golf - Edmonton offers a wide variety of golf courses catering to all different skill levels, both inside and outside of the city.
