What are the minimum acceptable TOEFL scores?
A minimum of 600 on the paper version is required. The minimum for the Internet-based test is 100.

How long is my TOEFL score valid?
TOEFL scores are valid for two years from the date of writing.

What services are available for international students?
The University of Alberta has a dedicated centre for international students.  The International Centre provides international student orientation, information on Canada, Edmonton, and local culture.  For more information please visit the University of Alberta International Centre website.

Do international (visa) students pay more?
A differential fee of 100% of all instructional fees is assessed to students who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
