Financial Aid

Scholarships
The Alberta MBA program makes every effort to ensure that academically strong students and those in need receive financial support. A number of entrance awards are available for Canadian and international candidates. Every year, a majority of full-time students admitted to the MBA program receive some form of funding through scholarships, entrance awards and bursaries. Scholarships and entrance awards are awarded on a rolling basis as completed applications are received and individuals are admitted into the program.

Financial Aid
Financial support in the form of MBA Differential Bursaries are available to students. These bursaries are awarded based on demonstrated financial need. Bursaries are typically awarded annually to students entering the MBA program.
University Bursaries and Emergency Funding
University Bursaries and Emergency Funding (UBEF) and the Student Financial Aid Information Centre (SFAIC) are a collaborative service of University Student Services and the Students' Union. Their mandate is to assist eligible students to find the financial resources necessary to fulfill their academic objectives.
Government Assistance
Provincial and federal government loans are available to students in financial need. For further details and application forms, contact the Student Financial Aid and Information Centre or the Students Finance Board.
International Students
International students who require financial support to attend the Alberta MBA program must arrange this support prior to their arrival. In most instances, only Canadian citizens or permanent residents (landed immigrants) at the date of application are eligible for provincial and federal government loans. International students should obtain information on scholarships by contacting the Ministry of Education (or equivalent authority) in their country.
