The Department of Strategic Management and Organization is one of four departments in the School of Business at the University of Alberta

Strategic Management and Organization (SMORG) is a research and teaching oriented department. We are ranked highly in Canada with respect to publications in top tier journals and our faculty members have received many teaching awards including the coveted 3M award. In addition, we also have a flourishing PhD programme.

We conduct research and offer courses in seven fields at the undergraduate, MBA and Ph.D. levels:
