The Centre was established in 1992, with the following mandate:
To be the leading centre in Canada for:
- Research into the management of professional service firms;
- Education of members of professional service firms on management issues.
From this mandate, the following objectives were derived:
- To foster and support research on the management of professional service firms.
- To be a focus for the development of undergraduate and postgraduate courses on the management of professional service firms.
- To develop executive education related to the management of professional service firms.
- To collect and disseminate research, data and information on national and international developments in the management of professional service firms.
