Employer Information

Since 1992 the Alberta School of Business at the University of Alberta has operated one of Canada’s leading Business Cooperative Education Programs. Currently over 350 students participate in the Business Co-op Program. Our strong Co-op Program is often the determining factor for talented students in choosing the U of A.

Through a rigorous application and interview process, highly motivated and well-prepared students are selected yearly to participate in the Co-op program. Since 1997-98, 820 students and 354 employers have partnered in this program.

Co-op graduates are in great demand; 93% of the Co-op class of 2009 surveyed were employed within 3 months of graduation.*
