Events
Throughout the year, the Alberta School of Business holds annual events that bring together students, local and international business leaders, and other members of the community to inform participants and to celebrate achievements.
The ABFI Signature events recognize the legacy of family-owned enterprises that have supported our communities and contribute to the growth of our economy.
This annual event brings past graduates of School together to celebrate and reminisce on their time at the U of A, as well as to look forward to where the School and the world of business are heading.
The CBLA is presented in the spring of each year at the Canadian Business Leadership Dinner. It honours an individual who has made a significant impact on the Canadian business scene. The dinner attracts approximately 800 Canadian business and government community leaders and members.
Established to honour the late Eric Geddes, ’47 BCom, who passed away in 2002 and who had strong ties on a number of levels in Edmonton, the lecture series brings our world-class researchers and their findings to the community.
Henry Singer Award
The School of Retailing gives out the Henry Singer Award to recognize exceptional leadership in the retailing and services sector. Established in 1992 to honour the memory of the late Henry Singer, the recipient is as committed to building their community as they are to building their business.
