Over 90 scholarship winners were feted at the annual undergraduate award luncheon, attended by close to 300 recipients, proud parents, supportive alumni and generous donors, held at the Hotel Macdonald this past Saturday. Fourteen new awards were added this year to support excellence in a variety of areas. Congratulations students. Thank you donors. The application deadlines for next year’s awards begin March 1 (Banister) and end on April 15.

In its fifth year, our very own CEFE Student Business Competition saw U of A business students winning all three categories – Technology, Family Enterprise, and Open Innovation. The competition, the largest in the province, featured 215 participants, 9 academic institutions, and 84 business plan teams. Congratulations to all participants.
